Held a good discussion with Dr. John Roche, Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor on prospects and possibilities of further strengthening New Zealand – Pakistan research and scientific collaboration esp. in the agricultural sector. Pakistan joined the Global Research Alliance on Greenhouse Gas Emissions  last year, and this year Pakistan & New Zealand concluded a landmark Education Cooperation Arrangement. With an estimated 100+ Pakistani Phd Scholars studying in various New Zealand Universities, there is a strong case for further deepening of the mutually beneficial scientific research and collaboration relationship.
