Apprising Rotary Club of Wellington of Pakistan’s National Polio Eradication Programme

In the context of WorldPolioDay2026, had the privilege of apprising Rotary Club of Wellington of Pakistan’s National Polio Eradication Programme, the mass immunization campaigns regularly undertaken since 1994, current challenges in achieving polio free status, and the optimistic prospects going forward. Thanked Pakistan’s global partners including: Rotary International, Polio Eradication, Gates Foundation, UNICEF and WHO for staying the course through what has been a long and arduous effort. This is the final sprint & with the support of friends and partners, Pakistan is determined to get across the finish line.
