The Aga Khan Award for Architecture recognizes the vision and visionaries behind living spaces that foster positive lived experiences for individuals, societies and communities across the world. Delighted to attend the event titled ‘Global Architecture, Local Futures: Aga Khan Award for Architecture — Exhibition & Public Conversation’ showcasing winners of the latest cycle of the Award and some fascinating conversations on the confluence of architecture and development at Auckland University of Technology. Among the winners, ‘a multistorey facility boasting joyful facades inspired by Pakistani and Arab craft, while housing a charity that aims to empower disadvantaged youth through vocational training’ in Pakistan.
